About Sage W&R

About Sage Writing & Research

Most companies and CEOs find tendering one of the most stressful and anxiety producing stages of doing business – whether it’s winning back your existing contract or trying to win new business.

There are some people – let’s call them, slightly unusual people – who love all aspects of tendering.

No, really. It’s true. They do exist.

Sage Writing & Research was established in 2019 by one of those people.

Managing Director, Amanda Tulloch-Hoskins, loves everything about tendering. She loves the compliance, the analysis, the contracts, the writing, the deadlines. She even loves the stress.

Amanda is just one of those people.

She loves it, she’s been doing it a long time, and she’s bloody great at it.

Sage W&R helps companies to win

That’s the vision for the company. Amanda loves helping companies of all sizes to win new business.

She doesn’t play sport.

She’s never even watched a whole game of footy. Because competitive tendering is the only competition she’s interested in.

Sage W&R provides professional bid management, tender and grant writing, and research services.

Amanda specialises in tendering for the disability, Indigenous services, employment services, recruitment, and community services sectors.

She will consult closely with your leadership team and subject matter experts to help your company develop a winning bid.

Amanda provides a full bid management service, bid analysis, response writing, team coaching, and advice. She will support your team all the way through the bid process, helping you to understand the purchaser requirements, design a service delivery model, coach your team, and write and edit tender responses.

Editing & Proofreading:

I can’t speak highly enough of the work that Amanda did editing my PhD thesis.

She very quickly picked up the gist of the topic and checked through the logical cohesion of my arguments and expression, offering helpful suggestions regarding word choice and phrasing when needed. Amanda checked numbering and referencing consistencies, and her keen eye caught unnoticed typing errors, punctuation, formatting, spelling, and grammatical issues.

Her approach was highly professional and intelligent.
